Welcome to ESR Limited

Electronics Consultancy

ESR specialise in the design and production of electronics systems.
We have a large amount of experience and undertake a wide range of projects from designing and building off-the-shelf products to bespoke work and consultancy.

Software

We have a great deal of software design and development experience built over a wide variety of projects.
Our main areas of expertise are software integration with hardware systems, database systems design, real-time data capture and data analysis systems.

Rolling Road Graphical User Interface

Our Graphical User Interface to Rolling Roads is a powerful tool for capturing and analysing data produced from rolling road.
The system allows for real-time data capture and subsequent analysis. Data can be saved for future reference and compared with previous runs to give a before-and-after view.

Rolling Road Replacement Control Electronics

ESR have now developed a complete set of replacement electronics for your existing rolling road. We can replace all your old control electronics with new strain gauge, speed sensors, handset and guages. These will utilise your existing mechanics, ie your rollers, air brakes and retarder. Each replacement set can be tailor made to your specifications - eg horsepower, speed, guages (ie analogue or digital).

Injection Braking

Injection braking is a method used to rapidly stop induction motors when the motor is switched off.
Our injection brake is able to stop 3-phase or single phase machines of any horsepower rating within the prescribed regulation times. When the machine has stopped, it is then electrically isolated from the mains so that a short circuit cannot cause the machine to start unsupervised.

Thermal Imaging

Thermal imaging is an important step in identifying operating problems for various electronic and mechanical equipment
If applicable we can use thermal imaging technology to help diagnose problems within existing systems, that are not readily apparent. This can help with system performance, system safety and component life. Any areas that are highlighted will indicate likely failure points that can be corrected.
